Usborne has fantastic books for little ones, but our titles for your older children will just blow your mind!
Spying is part of our Discovery Adventures series, which is amazing non-fiction for ages 8 and up.
Here's the description from the Usborne website:
"The secrets of the shadowy world of spies, their dangerous missions and secret identities are revealed in this fascinating book. Reveals high-tech methods used by spies working today, as well as more traditional spycraft used over the years. Contains real life spy stories illustrated with graphic picture strips, full-color photographs and fact boxes. With internet links to exciting websites, including the Usborne Ultra Message Decoder."
Doesn't that sound awesome?! I know this book is marketed as a children's book, but I read it and LOVED it! I learned SO much!
For example, do you know one method the Ancient Greek spies used to send messages to one another?
(yeah, me neither!)
They shaved the messenger's head and wrote the secret stuff on his bald head! Then when his hair grew back, the messenger was sent out to safely deliver the information!
So interesting!

This book also covers double-agents, a plot to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I, spies in the Second World War and the Cold War, the Cuban Missile Crisis, real life spies, ninjas, special spy gadgets, and so much more!
Spying has 80 pages, and is available for only $8.99. Click here to pick up your copy!
Special Forces is also another GREAT title in this series! If your child likes Spying, definitely check this one out next!
