At Usborne's National Convention, we get a lot of free books, I mean A LOT, and this is the one that I was most excited about reading with my Mary (because she's majorly into gymnastics right now after watching the American Girl movie about McKenna):
EJ12: Girl Hero is a brand-new fiction series for girls who aren't into the princess thing, but love spy stuff and sports! EJ, Emma Jacks as she's also known, loves her family, friends, animals, being on her school's gymnastics team, and being a secret spy in an underground organization that protects the world from evil. LOVE it!

I've read all 4 books aloud to my girls, and they're so much fun (and not too scary)! I especially love that EJ learns to deal with a bully, fear of the dark, self-doubt, and stage fright - all real-life situations that my girls may come across.
They're $5.99 paperback, geared to girls 7-9 years old, and have around 120 pages each.
During this week, July 13 - July 18, I'll reimburse 15% of the cost of your order when any of the new EJ12: Girl Hero books are part of your online purchase! Click here to start shopping, and be sure to select the Book of the Week event!
